In
an effort to normalize our weekday public hours, the Somers Library,
effective February 1, will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through
Friday, with the exception of Thursday when the library will be open
from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. The Library is open later on Thursdays to
accommodate commuters on their return trip. These changes, while not
reducing overall open hours, will help the Library reduce it operating
costs while maintaining a high level of service for our patrons.
Saturday hours remain unchanged, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday summer
hours from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. also remain unchanged.
